Keeping your availability calendar updated and refreshed is the NUMBER 1 best practice for getting hits to your profile page by prospective clients. Here's why:
Your ranking in search results is determined by when you last updated or refreshed your calendar. Doulas with the most recent calendar update/refresh are always at the top of the search results. Doulas in competitive markets update or refresh their availability calendar daily.
Profiles with calendars not updated or refreshed fall to the bottom of search results. Profiles with calendars that haven't been updated or refreshed in more than a month almost never show up high enough in search results to be seen by prospective clients.

To check your rank in search results, search for yourself using a due date that is available (green) on your calendar and a zip/postal code you serve. If you are not at the top of the search results, update or refresh your availability calendar!
